How do I correctly uninstall Davinci Resolve Studio

Ron, I am not able to answer your question but it may help with getting a reply if you state if you intend to upgrade to 15 afterwards or no longer are going to use Resolve on that computer. Peter

I uninstalled DaVinci Resolve Studeo 14.2 last week. It was so easy that I really can't remember what I did.

I have an old PC running windows 10 which I not had used for some months. The hard drive have two partitions C: and D:
And I have two users. One with administrative rights and an another I use for all daily task.

I remember that I started with creating a restore point. But I never used it.

Then I checked the registry: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve. But I just read It.

Then as an Administrator user, I used Windows Setting Apps and Uninstalled DaVinchi Resolve. It uninstalled something called DaVinchi Resolve Panels on the C:\

I can't remember if I then manually deleted the catalog d:\DaVinci Resolve on my D: drive. But I beleave I did.

That was it.

I later installed DaVinchi 12.5.3 Studio to check something out.

I did the following and seemed to work. Returned license to server and got confirmation it was now returned. Then used Revo Uninstaller Pro and removed all files associated with Resolve Studio. My main editor is EDIUS and I was having problems encoding to a HQ file with errors. When I uninstalled Resolve Studio EDIUS would not load. Must have been some common files that were causing the problems. So I have done a clean install of EDIUS 8.53 and will wait until the full version of Resolve Studio 15 is available before reinstalling. It all worked with Resolve Studio 14 but I had installed the public beta of 15 and I think that is what caused the problems for me with EDIUS.
