Cryptomatte

Will we be able to get a cryptomatte node for selections in the Color tab? Something extra to use other than the alphas? We could then use just 1 cryptomatte output opposed to numerous alphas if we need.

Blackmagic staff, anyone? It would be super useful in the color tab and not just in the Fusion tab if possible.

Support for non-RGBA channels is an open issue right now. But you can use cryptomatte in Fusion. Would that work for you?

Does it work in Fusion (Resolve) ? I probably could use it like that in the meantime, but would be super useful in the Color tab as that is where I do my post adjustments mostly. I haven't done much in Fusion, is there a way to loop changes back to the Fusion graph then back into color? Or just Fusion -> Color (one way)

No, it only works in Fusion. Not Resolve.
