[B3] [Linux] [Fairlight] Applying FX destroys audio feed

PostThu May 24, 2018 11:23 pm

In doing some testing today I came across a bit of an audio bug. Assembling and playing back clips/audio in the Edit and Fairlight tabs work pretty well. Adjusting the pre-exposed parameters (like Volume) results in an expected outcome. However, apply an Audio Effect from the FX Panel causes the audio to completely distort and wack out. The only way to recover from this is to 'File > Revert to Last Save' (with mixed results) or completely restart Resolve.

My audio preferences are set to use the system configuration. Using manual (back in B1) resulted in choppy and clicking audio. The clip I'm testing with is from the Arri FTP, specifically B001C004_140702_R3VJ.mov

If there's anything else you would like me to provide I'll be happy to give it up. I'm still a bit new to Resolve so not sure what info is best to provide in reports.

Cheers,
Mike
