You've apparently had Resolve 15 installed, and let it update the database.

Now you've apparently went back to 14, and it's telling you there is no 14 compatible database.

If you need original data, hopefully you made a database backup before allowing 15 to update it.

If so, Restore that backup database.

If not, you can no longer access that data from Resolve 14. You will need to make a new database to use Resolve 14.

I have the same problem and I backed up the database and it does load into Resolve 15, but I have a full copy of Resolve 14 Studio and not of 15 so my NR exports with a watermark on it.

I have a backup of the database, I never moved the 14 database from where it was, or updated it, but when I reinstall 14 I get this error:

Incompatible (not upgradeable) database 14.3.0.005 application requires 14.0.0.035.

Does this mean I need Resolve 14.0.0.035 rather than the version on my Blackmagic SD card? Can I download 14.0.0.035?

The backup made from Resolve 15 as a .diskdb file is a Res 15 database and so not backwards compatible.

If you have a full copy of Resolve 14 Studio, then you have a full copy of any Resolve 15.

Just install the Resolve 15 Studio software.

If you have an activation code license, it should still work.

If you have a dongle. it should still work.

If you want to use the 14 database, it's looking for 14.0 or 14.0.1. The database format changed in 14.1 and in 14.3.
