Fairlight issues

Hi there,

I’m pretty excited to see how the new beta 15 is improving at every release and can’t wait to get the final version.

Regarding Fairlight the other colleagues already have reported several issues like the difficulties when coping/pasting the audio clips and the impossibility to cross-fade them.

I usually change the speed of my audio clips to alter the pitch or to fit some transitions. This could be done in the edit workspace but cannot be replicated inside the Fairlight. Basically I need to switch from one workspace to another to achieve a speed change I appreciate if this will be fixed in the future releases.

Hope this helps you.

Not sure if it is what you are looking for but there is a pitch effect in Fairlight FXs I think but I have never used it so can't comment more.

Thank you Daz, yes I’m aware about the pitch effect unfortunately is not intuitive as changing the length of a clip by changing the speed, I often need to precisely match the length of a sound according to a video transition.

Also I’m not able to work efficiently by using the key frames (inside Fairlight I’m not able to have a key frame view and curves as well) and this makes the use of effects sometimes a bit struggling.

Maybe I’m wrong and there is a way to enable a key frames/curves editor view in Fairlight any suggestion is welcome.
