Cannot Launch after install

Hi - I installed resolve beta 1 and also we work off a shared database. I've never been successful in installing any of the other betas. It bounces in my doc for a while, then the splash screen appears.. then when it gets to 'looking for control surface' it just quits.
Reinstalling beta 1 works fine. No other betas work for me. Is there a way to clear a cache or something like a preferences file?
Would love to upgrade to get rid of all the fusion bugs

Can you please capture logs and post so we can see the issue?
Use the script to capture logs since you can’t start the app.

I looks like you might be on an old Mac, can you provide full system and OS details?

2010 imac
High Sierra
16gb ram.
Did the specs change between the first beta and the subsequent betas? The original runs fine apart from fusion

Can you re-install beta 1 and test again?

A user suggested this
We're looking at this issue; in the meantime, you could install b1 and after startup, in the Preferences -> System -> System Configuration, set the GPU processing mode to OpenCL.
This fixed it and I was able to open new betas and even the corrupt projects
