Upgrade from Resolve 14 to 15 through Apple

I had purchased DaVinci Resolve Studio 14 from Apple and Black Magic has released a new version (15). If purchased from Black Magic I would download a free upgrade. Will that be possible with the Apple version? Currently it is not. Will there be a charge?

We haven't "released" a new version yet.
When 15 is released, it will be available in the App store as a free upgrade.
If you want access to Studio beta versions, then getting a BMD license would be a better approach than from the App Store.

The problem for me is that I already own 14 Studio and can't/couldn't get a refund from Apple. At the time I was working on a project and needed it ASAP so I ordered the downloadable version. So to get it from BM I would have to pay twice. I would love to be working in the 15 Beta Studio version but...
In a side note If a person owns the Studio version and gets a Pocket Cinema Cam will there be a price break? I'm not expecting it but it would be nice.

The cameras are packaged i the factory with the activation key and sent to the regional offices for distribution to the reseller so there is no way to make a camera shipment without the key.
