Hi. This is one approach to solve your issue:

Step 1. Install the free Steakunderwater Reactor package manager for Fusion & Resolve.

Step 2. In the Reactor package manager switch to the "Resolve" category and select the "Resolve Essentials" atom package and install it. In Resolve's Fusion page there will be a new Fusion tools script added called "Render Selected".

Step 3. Select the FBXExporter node in the Nodes view. Then right click on the FBXExport node. In the contextual menu select Script > Resolve Essentials > Render Selected. This will render the FBXExporter node content to disk using the Fusion page's timeline start & end frame range.

Make sure the FBXExporter node's Filename setting that you entered isn't using a Comp:/ PathMap entry if you copied the Fusion 3D system nodes over from Fusion Standalone.

That's kind of a strange reply. What part makes you think that workflow is not 100% cross-platform compatible?

Hi,
I made the install as you tell.
First, It was very very (very) long to install. Is is normal ?
And then when I select the node and run the script, nothing happen.

I'm have win 7 and Resolve studio 15.

Thanks.

EDIT : OK, sorry I need to use FBXEXPORTultra node... Then it works.
Thanks

Hi,
I confirm that it is slow (very slow, you have to be patient ...) but Reactor works on WINDOWS 10.
(Fusion Standalone and In Davinci Resolve 15B004 :) )
I continue to test (and test): thank you for all this work ...

Hello all.

Concerning the Reactor speed issues, I'll just post our response to that here as well:

Yes we are noticing the same. Rest assured we're looking into this, everyone. Unfortunately there's a bit of bad luck involved here. One of the new features of Reactor 2.0 is that it does have a working caching system that updates content only as needed. There are a few small core files left to receive the same treatment plus there's obviously a check on startup for new content with an active internet connection. Those files are so small and our many tests ran so smoothly that we did not consider that step a critical priority.

But, I kid you not - on the very day of the release, GitLab started having major issues with API access and they have been lasting for days now. It's been a while since I've seen 1kb/s download speeds... So we're looking for alternatives there, too, with the obvious choice being GitHub.

It's a shame really, because when GitLab is optimal - the issues are intermittent - Reactor really flies.

So please bear with us and let's for the moment hope that the GitLab issues are only very temporary.

Hello,

I redid a complete installation of Reactor in Fusion_9_0_2 and Davinci 15_Beta_4 and it's much better.

The images show the network throughput (on average).

Versus ~ 1-2 KB debit the first time: it's much better.
Good reaction (oups reactor :) ). It only remains to test all that.
Thank you.
