Would it make sense?

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie and I'm not a professionist but I'm getting in love with editing and with Resolve.
I've a bunch of footages from a JVC camera 1920x1080 at 25 fps (2010) and some from a Canon Vixia HF G30 (2016) at 29,97 fps.
The subject I'm editing is my training to become a General Aviation pilot.
The question is: would it make sense to edit them all in a 24 fps project to get a more cinematographic feeling (with a 2:35 video ratio)?

Thank you for any support,

Max

Hey Max

The difference between 25 and 24 is negligible. I'd work in a 25P project, and either let Resolve conform the 29 to 25 in timeline, or change them to 25 (and make them bi slow, not good for sync audio shots) from Clip Attributes.

Another consideration would be, what do you have more of? And which of the 2 are more important footage to your final piece.
If 75% of your edited shots are in 29... it does make sense to work in a 29 timeline.

Thank you Hector!

I'll stick with 25P. In fact the most of the shots are in 25 and they cover the most of the story.
This is the kind of suggestion I was looking for!
