Hi,
When working with the numeric start/end fields I think the 'end'field should be in the position of the current 'current time' field. That's where the visual end of the timeline is, so that's where I'd look for a numerical indication. (see the attached image)
In addition to this I feel that the 'current time' should be somewhere centered under the view, because that's where your eyes can do the quickest check: what frame is this? What am I looking at?
