15.0.0B.046 Laptop Dual Display Bug

PostMon Jun 04, 2018 3:06 am

When at home in my studio, I have my Razer Blade 14 - i7/7700HQ, 16GB, NVidia GTX 1060 6GB connected to an external monitor via HDMI. When Resolve Studio 15beta is in dual-screen mode, I like to switch the primary window to "display 2" so that the primary window is the big monitor.

However, unless the primary window is switched back to "display 1" before I exit, it becomes impossible to view Resolve or load a project if the external monitor is unplugged - e.g. if I take the laptop with me on the road. The only workaround seems to be to find another HDMI monitor, launch Resolve, switch the primary window back to "display 1", and then unplug the secondary monitor. It would be much easier if Resolve automatically reverted the display to "display 1" whenever a secondary monitor is not plugged in.
