Hi!
I was working with Resolve 15B4 and was noticing odd behaviour when trying to work with a .PSD file. I'm not sure wether it's a bug or just a wrong setting somewhere, because it's the first time I use images in an Resolve Project. The image is a logo with an alpha, that has to go at the end of a commercial. I have prepared the logo in UHD 3840x2160 pixels in Photoshop and used it in Resolve project. (I later tried the same image as a .PNG file with the same results. The project has a timeline resolution of just HD, but I want to future-proof the project, so I created all assets for 4K. When I scale the logo inside Resolve — using the "zoom" transform control in the inspector, I get very jagged edges in the image. It's as if the scaling algorithm ist in "draft" mode. I have tried switching the resize filter in the project settings to improve rendering quality between "sharper, smoother bicubic…" but I can see no change — this setting seems to be affecting video but not stills. Am I missing something to get clean image-scaling or is this a bug? I have a screenshot of what I see uploaded here:
