[Linux] Issues with H.264 .mp4 video

Hey there! I've had a reoccurring issue for quite some time now on a few different Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Solus, Manjaro etc.) and I'd like to ask if I'm doing something wrong, if this is a bug or some misconfiguration issue.
I'm trying to record from OBS (https://obsproject.com/) into H.264 .MP4 and edit the footage in DaVinci Resolve Beta 15.0b4. I've also had the same issue with versions <15. Using Nvidia GTX 960 w/ 4 GB VRAM and official Nvidia 390.59 drivers
My installation goes fine, DaVinci Resolve opens and everything seems perfect. I import my media and it shows up with "No Video". It cannot seem to import the video correctly and trying to edit the footage just shows a black, blank preview.
Recording of issue:
(~1:30)

I would love any help and I'd be happy with providing more debugging information on request. (A crash report was sent in the recording too)
Run log: https://pastebin.com/9bkw6Xci (I couldn't find a --debug flag or anything. Adding any flag seemed to cause a segmentation fault but it runs fine without any flag. https://pastebin.com/SQqhJBHR)
System neofetch:
inxi -G:
DaVinci Resolve Version: DaVinci Resolve 15.0b4_Linux
ffmpeg version: 3.4.2
Nvidia drivers version: 390.59
Any help would be amazing and I'd love to provide more debugging information if needed. <3
Thank you!
