Try running an uninstall app to clean up all aspects of Resolve application that are on your system except the database and then install again.

What exactly did you zip? And why? Why not just do a clean reinstall of Resolve from scratch?

Hopefully you did not delete the folder that would would have the default Disk Database with all your project data: C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support\Resolve Disk Database

Or, even more hopefully, you did a proper Resolve database backup before any of this.

Perhaps I misread your OP.

If you are having trouble unzipping the .zip file you downloaded from the BMD web site, then you just have a corrupt download. Try again, with the current b4 version.
