Put the files on a file sharing site and provide a link. If it won't let you post a link, put a space in it somewhere, so the system does not see it as a link.

Looks like it was running with 15b3, and after 15b4 installed, it barely starts up before a very hard crash.
Quite odd behavior.
It looks like you've worked on 2 projects on your system:
STO EDIT TEST
Toon Intro
If you have project export drp's of those projects, or you don't care about them, then do the following:
Using the Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features panel, uninstall Resolve.
Then, in Windows File Explorer, delete this folder: C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design
And while you are in File Explorer, verify that this folder is gone: C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve. If it's not gone, delete it.
Now install Resolve 15b4.
If it still has issues, provide another log.

Please go into Windows Control Panel, Programs and Features, and IF DaVinci Resolve is in the program list, right click and uninstall it again.
Then run the installer again, and uncheck the DaVinci Resolve Panels check box, and see if it works any better.

In Windows File Explorer, go to this location:
C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve\Support
In that folder is an Onboarding folder. Rename that folder to Onboarding.tmp and launch Resolve and see what happens.

DaVinci shows up in the Task manager using 135.7 MB of RAM and 0 everything else.
new log:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/likato50v83h0 ... 9.zip?dl=0Attachment is what I changed......
at this point I am wondering if it is on my end, the program was working perfectly before I went from 16 gigs ram to 32 gigs........ I'll go over my PC once more but know this, this is the only program to be affected by the RAM upgrade, and all drivers are up do date.

Run Windows Control Panel - Programs and Features and uninstall Resolve.
Verify that C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve is gone.
Now go to the C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design folder and RENAME the DaVinci Resolve folder to DaVinci Resolve.OLD
Reinstall Resolve.
What happens now?

It doesn't appear that you renamed the C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve folder as requested.
Lets do this: repeat the whole process again, and instead of renaming the C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve folder, cut the C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve folder and paste it somewhere else, like Downloads.
So what we want is for NOTHING to be in the C:\ProgramData\Blackmagic Design folder.
Then reinstall again and see what happens.

That usually does the trick, when all else fails.

I'm having the same problem as the OP. I'm just replying to this because I searched all over the internet and couldn't find a solution, and tried everything in all the threads (including this one). The only way I could get the software to work again was to install version 12 (which I had an old installer for). I even tried then upgrading from 12 to 15 and it went straight back to not working.
I'm sure a fresh version of windows would fix it, but that's not a very viable solution for most people, so I hope this helps, and that a future version of Davinci Resolve might solve the problem.
Also, to assist with actually diagnosing this issue I sent an email to support, and here's a list of things suggested in other threads that I tried that didn't work:
- Installing version 14
- Installing version 15 beta
- Clearing the program data folders and resintalling
- Unplugging other monitors (I only have one monitor)
- Uninstalling panels
- Clearing certain registry files
- Disabling other graphics cards in BIOS (I only have one and it was correctly recognised in the logs)
- Killing the process and starting again
- Renaming the welcome.exe
- Reinstalling the C++ libraries on my computer
- Renaming the whole 'onboarding' folder
Hope this helps others!
