This is what I would like to do, hopefully it can be done. I understand the macro system. You select a bunch of nodes, tell Resolve to make a macro, then you are presented with a window of all the settings on all those nodes. You select some, then save the .settings file. If you keep the node in /Fusion/Macros folder you can add that macro as a new node on the fusion page. This macro node has only the settings which you selected when it was made. An easy way to make resueable components. Now if you move the .settings file to the /Fustion/Templates/Edit/Titles folder it is available as a Fusion Title. On the edit window you can drag this Fusion Title onto the timeline, then in the inspector you have two tabs, a Fusion tab, with your custom controls, and a Video tab with the normal video controls. In general this system works ok, but you can not rename Fusion Titles and organizing them just doesn't exist. Same with normal Fusion macros.
What I would like to know. Can I select a setting on some node, like "Stylized Text" for example and promote it up to either the group node (if it's in one) or to the edit page. Normal Fusion clips on the Edit page don't seem to have the Fusion tab like Fustion Titles do. It would be really convienient, even in the Fusion window, to select a bunch of nodes, make them a group, but pull out the specific settings I might need to adjust in the nodes in that group. While Fusion Titles are convienient and cool, it's impossible to share them via Power Bins with other network users, while you can put Fusion and Compound clips in Power Bins.
If this is not currently possible, Blackmagic should add it in.
