Edit page GPU overheat

PostThu Jun 07, 2018 9:05 pm

Anyone else notices that GPU usage goes up substantially higher on the edit page vs the color page?

What I mean is that if I'm not playing anything back and I'm in the color page my GPU usage is minimal but in the same circumstance in the edit page, the GPU gets hot pretty quick even if it's not catching anything.

Can't reproduce that here. If I loop for a few minutes in the Edit page, my GPU stays about 4-6 degrees cooler than looping a clip in the Color page with one simple correction.
Mine is a Radeon Pro 580, so yours may show different results.
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
