Place videos on timeline according to their timecode

To me this seems like a very basic function, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. All I want to do is place video clips on the timeline according to their internal TC.

Recorded with Canon 300. I can see the TC in the metadata. What am I missing?

Sort in media pool based on start timecode, then select all.
