How do I render a video with subtitles?

PostSat Jun 09, 2018 7:40 pm

This might be a dumb question, but I have a problem with that. So I made a video and added subtitles to it (in the subtitle track). When I render it, it everything looks as I wanted but one thing is not there: the subtitles. I tried to use different settings but I do not know how to make them appear in the video.
Can anyone help? I would be really grateful!

Normally subtitles are rendered by the player, so the audience can switch them on or off.
If you want to burn them in, you have to instruct Resolve to do that, it's in the delivery settings (assuming you are on the beta of DR15).
My disaster protection: export a .drp file to a physically separated storage regularly.
