Possible to create a Hue curve point without shifting?

I find that no matter how delicate I am with creating Hue curve points, it always is shifting the curve slightly and so I either just leave it where it is, or have to go down to the number field and change the number back to where it was.

Is there a way to snap the point when creating it so it creates a point without shifting the curve slightly?

Hold down Shift key while creating the point. Same for all of the Curves.

oh great.

I tried that earlier thinking that was it but I was still nudging it somehow. Just tried it again now though and seems to be working.

Thanks!

You're welcome.

My pet frustration is with the RGB Mixer controls.

If you just click on the thin white strip at the top of each channel bar it doesn't stay put, as one might expect - it always nudges the bar (and corresponding numeric value) a tad. If the existing position is above the default mark, it will nudge it down, and if below the mark it will nudge it up. Quite frustrating when you are poised to move the cursor and then decide otherwise, only to find that the existing value has changed. Maybe the 'hold down Shift key lock' action could be brought into play there.

Secondly I can't see any way to enter the numeric setting in the boxes under the channel bars, as you can with other controls. The only thing clicking the box does is return to the value to default.
