How can I completely clear my PC of all Davinci Resolve file

I have just upgraded to Resolve Beta 5. Software crashes when trying to load projects. I uninstalled Beta 5 and tried installing Beta 4 but I keep getting a message telling me there is a newer version installed. I tried installing Beta 5 again but get the same message. I now have no Resolve loaded. Are there some hidden files somewhere in the depths of Windows that need to be stripped out to allow me to reload Version 14.3 or Beta 4 so that I can get access to my projects please.

OS Windows 10 latest updates

To install an older version, you can delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Blackmagic Design key. That's where it is checking for version info.

I just had a similar issue. I ended up needing to delete the old install files manually from C:\Program Files\Blackmagic Design\DaVinci Resolve

I don't think that is an official fix, but so far I've been able to open my projects and edit/deilver one.

Thank you Christian,

Deleting the version key in the registry allowed me to install Beta 4 but that now crashes in the same way as Beta 5. It looks as though I will have to delete all of the files in Davinci Resolve folder and start again.

Thanks Dan too.

After completely deleting the BlackMagic Design folder and Blackmagic Design reference in the registry I was able to re-install beta4 and get to my projects. Luckily I keep my projects folder on a separate drive well away from any installed software.
