Resolve 14 takes a long time to open.

I have Resolve 14.1 installed but it takes at least 10 minutes looking for control surface before finally opening and it works perfectly.Has anyone else had this issue and if so what was the solution.I have Windows 10,i7 6700,2.6GHz,Nvidia GTX1080 and 16GB RAM.

Are you, or have you ever been, connected to any external PostgreSQL databases?

If so, and one or more of those is not available, it takes some amount of time of trying to connect to the missing databases before it gives up.

I'm not sure,but I ran CCleaner to attempt a repair and I got a message'The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.Check 'ok' to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package Resolve installer.msi in the box below.'I don't know what that means or if it has any bearing on the problem I encounter when opening Resolve.

How can I find out if my laptop has been connected to an external postgres and how can I fix this issue?

Provide a link to a Resolve Log file.

Resolve Help menu - Create Diagnostic Log on Desktop to generate the log.
