Rendered Files are Slightly Washed Out in R15b5

Been trying to output a nice render and finding that the output file is slightly washed out. The example is the same frame screen grabbed from Resolve's Colour Page (Left), and as a frame from the rendered ProResHQ file (Right). Notice the loss of colour in the yellow and the background.

Did you playback final video in QuickTimeX player on Mac? QTX is color managed player and transforms Rec709 gamma and colors to monitor profile in its own way. Resolve output viewer (same as most video players) is not color managed. Resolve have checkbox in preferences "Use Mac Display Color Profile for Viewers" in this way it can match QTX output. But it is limited and works only if your timeline set to Rec709. Also you can make custom made LUT to match Resolve preview to QTX player.
This problem was described in many threads like this viewtopic.php?f=21&t=74903

Thanks Dmitry,

I had seen some of these in the past, but it was not a problem I had noticed. Hmmmm.

Set it all up exactly as you suggested Dmitry, and have to say that it has made no difference. I also looked at the LCD settings that Apple allow and found a 702 one which looked great, but still allowed a difference between Resolve Preview and Quicktime. So the question would be if not Quicktime, then what format to use?

With more people going to be using Resolve with the BMPCC 4K I imagine this could become a big issue. Broadcast systems of can of course afford to have calibrated monitors.

Quicktime does not mean anything, it is about how Resolve displays it.

So you confirmed that after importing the rendered video in Resolve there was a difference on the scopes?
