Clips freeze in viewer after a few minutes

I'm working with footage from a Panasonic EVA1 and I'm able to work fine for a few minutes and then the viewer freezes. I can still move around the interface, selecting a new clip updates the thumbnail in the nodes window, but the viewer is stuck on the last image it loaded. Also, save no longer works at this point and I have to force quite.

This has happened in Beta 4 and 5.

I'm trying to post logs but won't let me post URLs.

Hello Peter,
I am using Davinci Resolve 17.2.1 Build 12 on a Mac Mini M1 and I have realized that whenever I play an audio file(either in Wav or Mp3), there is this weird breakages and lag in the audio which causes glitches and freezes the source viewer. But when I drag this same audio file onto my timeline, there is no such breakages and lags. Can you please help me on how to fix this? Thanks.
