Browse->File->Windows file system

Dear Blackmagic programmers,

why I have to surf through a nested file system hierarchy to save my video sequences?

c:-->users-->my_user_name-->desktop-->file_name.mp4

all Windows programs use Windows file system and I can select directly the desktop.
I can understand you want to unify Mac OS+Window+Linux file systems but Windows users don't want to surf through several directories to save on the desktop.

Also, please, I pray: make a list of the latest used path.

Thanks!

Windows10, Resolve Studio 15B5

regards

If you make the desktop one of those 'Preferences, Media Storage Locations' it will appear in the deliver page list.

thanks!

super powerful option.

I'd like to have a wizard that asks us (during the program installation) some questions:

Would you like to add some disk locations as default saving paths?

Preferences have tons of options, a wizard could teach us some basic settings before to start.

It's only and idea.

regards.

The Media Store makes it easier to preview, peek at metadata, decide on still-import vs sequence-of-frames import, and decide to bring in subclips vs whole clips.

You can still drag and drop content from the Explorer directly into the Media Store (to go to that path), or to the Media Pool and timeline (to import clips and start work).
