Will a Lenovo P910 ThinkStation work well with DR?

I have a P910 with dual 10 core E5-2630v4 CPUs, 64 GB ram, nVidia GTX 1080ti GPU, Win 10 1803 on
1 TB NVMe SSD and several other SSDs.

There are no Lenovos listed on compatible computer setups. Is there a particular reason they are not accepted?

Do they not have enough PCIe lanes?

Thanks for any answers

Lenovo computers aren't counted among "workstations", so it's unlikely the brand is tested.

You shouldn't have any trouble running Resolve on this machine. Download the free version and try it.

Hi.

You also ask if it have enough PCIe lanes?

Acording to this has each E5-2630v4 CPU:

Max # of PCI Express Lanes 40

From:

I don't how they are connected to the expansion Slots. But if you have a hardware manual can you be lucky to read it there. The idea is not to allow any PCIe lane to share the connection to two or more slots. So mount you add on cards so they don't share PCIe lanes.

Expansion Slots:

(4) PCIe x16
(2) PCIe x4
(2) PCIe x1
(2) Flex Connector

Regards Carsten.

John, I really don't understand why BMD has not tested Lenovo Workstations.

The P910 is indeed a workstation of great magnitude with very similiar specs to an HP 840Z.

Just for your info, thanks for your answer.
