macOS 10.14 may break Resolve 15 audio

Because I am also an iOS developer I recently installed macOS 10.14 Beta (because it's needed to run xCode 10).

Video is OK, but I now have no audio out of Resolve 15.0.0B.037. Audio meters are not showing any output.

Audio from other apps via but current audio setup works fine.

OK, managed to fix the audio by downloading macOS 10.14 beta 5, then installing the latest version of Resolve 15, and updating USB interface drivers, and giving Resolve access to my microphone, the latter apparently being the critical step.
