R15b5 : Database Creating : New Directory location
Posted: Mon Jun 25, 2018 12:36 pmThe is an (IMHO) inconsistency in the location that the directory for new Databases is CREATED.
STEP 1 : 'CREATE HERE' directory is Selected for the new DB to be Created inside. -> CREATE
At this point the directory is NOT created INSIDE the highlighted directory in the window.
STEP 2 : (you can't see where the location of the the New Directory is and so you might have though it would have been created inside 'CREATE HERE') -> OPEN
STEP 3 : The directory 'Location' does not reference 'CREATE HERE'.
All other application that I am aware of on MacOS would have used the highlighting of the Directory (in Step1) to be indicative of the directory to create the new DB.
I also note that the functionally changes (ie sometimes works) if you change the directory listing type inside MacOS.
