No Audio from Headphones

I'e been looking all over the place for this. I recently switched to Resolve from Avid (I was actually looking for some hardware when I found it) and for most part have been pleased with it. I'm thinking of getting the full version in July or August.

I have a weird problem. Sometimes I edit on my laptop while hanging out with my family. I want to listen through headphones so as not to bother them- but I can't. It keeps playing through the speakers. I've looked all over, and found a lot of post about no audio at all, but none on this problem. Any ideas?

HP Spectre
Win 10
8 GB RAM
Intel Core i7-6500 4core 2.59ghz

Go to Preferences (in the far-left menu) and click on Video and Audio I/O. Check your "speaker setup" to see what it's set to ("Device" should be set to "built-in output"), and also check your Windows Sound control panel to see what is selected as the playback device...which is your built-in output.
