Multiple versions?

Can I run install Resolve 15beta on a machine without first removing version 14?

ie: can I install both versions and run either (as required) without conflict?

And, when upgrading, do I have to uninstall the old version before installing the updated version?

Thanks in advance.

No, you cannot have multiple versions of Resolve installed at the same time.

If you are installing a newer version, you do not need to uninstall the current version first.

On Windows, if you wish to install an older version, you need to uninstall first. You don't need to do that on Mac or Linux.

So I can't play with V15-beta if I want to continue doing production work with V14 on the same machine, that's a bit of a shame. I'm not a fan of using beta software when deadlines are involved but I'd love to play around with the new features.

Dang!

Dual boot is your answer, and the one I chose too, because I'm also not keen on betas but wanted to participate to bug reports and test new functions... Hence the dual boot

Same here. That's what I always do with beta software, and even with new OS versions.
