Newer nVidia Drivers, Resolve won't detect as CUDA

Had updated my graphics drivers the other night from 388.59 to the most recent as of this post 398.36. But then when I went the next day to edit a video Resolve (14) wouldn't even launch telling me that it couldn't find any GPUs all of the sudden.
So I tried clean re-installation of the nVidia drivers thinking something installed wrong. Resolve still wouldn't see them. Tried reinstalling Resolve, still didn't work. So I clean installed the 388.59 again and it works fine on that version of the driver, so I started rolling up to see how recent I could get. Most recent I could get to was 388.71. As of 390.65 and newer Resolve will not detect any CUDA compatible GPUs?
Does Resolve just not work with newer nVidia drivers or something?
I also tried out the 15 beta, but it also wouldn't detect any CUDA GPUs on the higher driver versions.
My hardware is a pair of GTX980Ti cards. OS is Windows 8.1 x64. It all works fine with driver versions prior to 39*.**, but anything newer isn't detected by Resolve for some reason. Is this just a limitation of your software?
