Date Format

PostWed Jul 04, 2018 8:24 am

Hi there, any chance someone knows how I can change the date format displayed from the US mm/dd/yyyy to the AU/UK dd/mm/yyyy within the interface? I did a search of the manual, internet and forums, and strangely cannot find anything on the subject. Many thanks in advance.

So, in answer to myself, it does seem that with the entry fields involving dates, such as selecting files between dates for a smart bin filter, the format does follow my windows system settings, in my case dd/mm/yyyy, so that works for me.

Doesn't seem to work under MacOS. Even if my system settings are following continental Europe standards when displaying file creation or modification dates, inside of Resolve the Date Created column (for example) is showing them the American way of month first.

Would be great to make this just follow system settings.

Sorry to hear that...

Under Windows 10, all the list displays showing dates, such as media modified date, creation date etc, display a long format date in US format: Tue Apr 4 2017 20:05:10. However, when I set dates in a smart bin, specifying perhaps a filter to display images that have a modofied date between two dates, I can specify it as dd/mm/yyyy, as per my system location/language/regional settings.

I can live with it, but a little inconsistent, and as you say, maybe different again from the Mac version. Let us hope they take a look at this...
