Fusion composition turns active after cut (Beta 6)

From time to time I accidentally clicked on the fusion tab. When fusion start it automatically creates a fusion composition that's active for that clip. To stop the fusion composition from being active I right click on the clip and reset current composition. When I jump back over to the edit page and make a cut in that clip the fusion composition turns active again and start caching the fusion composition within that clip. Not sure how to stop this.
