Error when rendering large files

I'm having an issue where while rendering videos, after about 1.5 hours (of video time) I'll get a message that reads, "Timeout when waiting for frame xxxxx for recording, frame dropped." I've tried changing the location of my render from my HDD to my SSD to see if that fixes it, but I'm still getting the issue.

In the area below render speed, it also tells me that I'll be going way over my disk space available. The video files end up being <10gb each, and I have over 300gb of free space available.

I have the same problem. Sometimes after restarting it renders ok, but sometimes it does not. I have no problem regarding my discs that are fast enough. Also, it is good to know that in my case, after canceling the export (after the alert), Resolve freezes and I must force to quit. Mac OS 10.12.6 Resolve 14.2

I have the same problem and only get it when rendering with multiple GPUs (Supermicro 7048 w/ 3x 1080ti). Works fine when only the display GPU is used with the other 2 disabled.

What is your system configuration/hardware?

Bump. Also having problems rendering. It's most often when I have a very long timeline or render queue. Anyone found a solution for this?

I got this error for the first time last night (when using DR 14). It then left DR unresponsive requiring a forced shutdown of the program.

The next time I attempted the render there were no problems.

I searched for an option to configure a wait/continue option for this but found none.

I was rendering 1080p 50fps footage to H264 in an .mov container using a maximum bitrate of 16,000, network optimized, and HIGH.

At the time, the disk utization was zero, with a very occasional spike to 7%.

This is the first time in the three months or so that I've been using DR14 that it has actually crashed on me so I'm still very impressed.

Still happens on 15b8 with long renders, other than that 8 is solid on Linux with no other crashes. Happened twice, once with a 8+ hour render job and other a 57+ minute show.

I can PM logs to BMD if requested.
