Markers - not working in fullscreen

Hi,
I just noticed that if I am in fullscreen and press M, it does not create a marker. I am normally in fullscreen to review the footage so it helps if it is possible to use shortcuts.

Just a "bump" that it would great with marker short working in fullscreen. A shortcut for jumping to the next/previous clip for example arrow right/left or up/down.

I finally did a backup and installed beta 8 on my main editing machine since I really need some of the features. So far so good.
So I noticed with the M in fullscreen actually works in the Editing pane. However, it does not work in the Media. Sadly this is where we put the most markers.

FCP 7 solved this by respecting the keyboard focus in the underlying app. The keyboard worked as if the viewer were not maximized. I regularly navigated the interface "blind," adding markers, setting in and out points, switching to the browser window and loading new clips into the viewer, etc. It was unlimited and easy to understand this behavior too.

Yes Joe, I think this is the desired behavior. Basically full screen behaves identically to if you are in the working mode so all shortcuts works as usual.

The way I want to work I want to see the video, which means I need to have it fullscreen so I am sure that it is sharp and then I move back and forward and put markers where we have interesting things happening, but that is not possible currently. I also miss a shortcut for jumping to the next shot when I'm in the Media section. That is how I work with pictures, just next next next mark mark next next previous etc.

Maybe I should instead use something like a decklink to output the video to a second or third screen so it is always in fullscreen while I have the smaller work window. Is that how it works?

Any chance this can get solved in this or the next version of Resolve? Sure would be nice.

Thanks Jim! The referenced thread says "I want every shortcut to work in Cinema mode." I totally agree.

Would be great if we could get this! At least the next and previous clip shortcut to work!
