Looking for Control Surface Crash

PostMon Jul 09, 2018 2:40 pm

Hi All

I downloaded the Davinci Resolve 15 Beta 6 (after using 14 for some time) and while it worked initially, 2 days ago it started crashing on load. The program will display the initial loading screen, go to "Looking for Control Surface", and then disappear and never start the actual application.

I have gone through forums and phone support doesn't do support for the Public Betas so I am turning here for some help. I have uninstalled the beta, deleted the folders and tried re-installing again with no luck. I also tried installing Davinci Resolve 14 again but that now also crashes at the same message...

Going through the forums it looks like this is an issue some have had with little success getting it resolved. If anyone has any other tests I can run please let me know as I love this editing software.

I am using Davinci Resolve on a Windows 10 computer with 16GB ram, Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070.

Please move this into the beta forum and post a log as explained there in the top sticky.
