DaVinci Resolve 15 not working

I recently downloaded Resolve 15 on my laptop but it does not work when I open the program. It will load a project (or start a new one) but when the program opens I am unable to switch to new tabs or click on anything. Its like the program freezes but my computer is not locked up. I did find that the program responds to inputs if i minimize and reopen the window between each mouse click. The only issues I can come up with is a GPU compatibility issue. Can you please advise? Thanks!

DaVinci Resolve 15 Version: 15.0.0B.065.

Computer pecs:
MSI WT72 6QK Workstation laptop
Intel Core i7 - 6700HQ
16 gb RAM
NVIDIA Quadro M3000M

Check the driver recommendations from BM for that card. Hardware wise it should suffice.

All drivers are up to date. problem persists.

Create a Resolve diagnostic log file (Resolve Help menu) and create a Windows System Information .NFO file (File - Save) in the Windows System Information app.
