Export AAF to ProTools doesn't bring along ClipMic Channels

PostTue Jul 10, 2018 4:48 am

Recently I've been dealing with a few AAF issues exporting from Davinci Resolve 15 Beta 4.
Now here comes the big one. Our audio engineer just found out that a lot of audios in the AAF are all the same channel. In our case, most of the channels have turned into only BOOM MIC channel instead of having all different mics in their designated tracks.

Right now I'll have to export track by track audio for the engineer to continue his work. Hopefully BMD can solve the AAF issue for us.

Thanks!

*I wanted to upload a screenshot of the timeline received from the audio engineer, but the website doesn't allow me to upload a 1.2MB picture(And previously it told me maximum size is 2MB).

Hi Peter

Here's the sample of the timeline we receive from the engineer.

As you can see, all the waveform looks exactly the same from the AAF, and by right it should be different as it's from the different microphone.
