Glitch in mp4 render when using alpha layer

PostWed Jul 18, 2018 8:26 am

When rendering a mp4 (h264) in Resolve, glitches appear on the video's where alpha layers (.mov) are used. The alpha layers are renders out of After Effects (Quicktime Animation, rgb+alpha) and seemd to be perfectly fine.

When rendering to for example DNxHD in Resolve, the video is fine and there are no glitches at all. It seems to be a problem when exporting to mp4 h264. Also I have tried the alpha layers on diffrent kind of footage, like prores422 and mp4 h264. In both, the glitches appear (on the alpha layer footage).

Only in the final render though, so in play-back the video is fine. When rendering cachfiles, it seems to be okay, but when rendering to mp4 the glitches still appear.

Who can help me out??
