Twixtor for DR

PostWed Jul 18, 2018 10:09 am

I was in contact with the Revision helpdesk to ask them if there's a change that they will have a version of Twixtor for DR in the future. It's strange that apart from Motion, DR is the only NLE system that isn't supported.
They told me it's not up to them but it's because Blackmagic is not giving them the information that's needed to develop a compatible version for DR. They were happy with my question and hoped I would pass on my wish to Blackmagic. So here it is! :)

I am having a workstation built to run DR. I was hoping to have Twixter placed on it.
Can I assume it is not compatible as of Sept.22, 2018?
Any idea if it is coming?
If not, this is an ask. I hope BM considers it.

I hope that Blackmagic helps developers further enrich Resolve. They should provide any API needs they have. I mean, Twixtor is rather major!

Resolve uses the OFX standard.

http://openeffects.org/

It seems like it should be possible for the Twixtor developers to use that here.
My Biases:

You NEED training.
You NEED a desktop.
You NEED a calibrated (non-computer) display.
