Workflow for Documentary, organizing and finding content

PostWed Jul 18, 2018 1:10 pm

Hi all,

I wanted to ask for your advice on organizing the footage and its content.
I noticed, there are several places you can add notes and keywords, which can be used to quickly find a specific place in content.
E.g. if you add markers to a clip, they can be found via search in the list view (they appear as a fold out under each clip). But this is not the case with timelines or compound clips.
And when I sync audio I often create a timeline or a compound clip.
And other approach would be to subclip everything and add notes and keywords. But this seems unpractical.

Any advice on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Philipp
