2nd Time - I perform a Ripple/Cut, then DRS crashes

For my work, I am almost always in MultiCam, that said, this is the 2nd perhaps 3rd time this has happened: I'm performing some BLADE cuts of the multicam itself, then a ripple delete. After 5-7 time of doing that DRS just freezes for 5-7 seconds and crash.
Quick snapshot of my workflow: take my 3 VidCam tracks, In-point audio sync them, pull them into media as sub-clips, then make all 3 a MultiCam and pull into a EDIT Tiimeline. I open the the timeline, select the best audio track to go with, delete the others. If I get a better Lavalier audio track I use that. Delete the others. Then I get busy....
