Clip Equalization not working?

I'm using Resolve 15 Beta 6, and I'm trying to equalize the clip, but the Clip EQ panel is just black (no vector). I'm new to the program, so maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like this should be working. I've added a screencap to show what I'm seeing (or not seeing).

Thanks for reporting the bug, but without info on context, we can't really do much with this info.

What's your hardware specs, OS, OS version, driver version? is there a link to any diagnostic log archives from Resolve? did you see this issue with any other version of Resolve? Have there been changes since then?

This software is new to me, so I have no experience with previous versions. Admittedly, this particular computer (a Dell) is just a workaround until we get one more qualified for video editing. As for specs:

(not sure which driver you're referring to)
Davinci version 150.0.08.065
Windows 10 Home
Intel Celeron CPU 2.7GHz
8GB of RAM
And I believe the GPU is just an HD video chip built into the motherboard.

And wouldn't you know it, I just opened Resolve to grab a diagnostic log, and the problem seems to have 'resolved' itself. Not sure what went wrong before, but I doubt the log would help at this point. But just in case, I've uploaded one to this post. I hope its helpful.

Hi

Please note that the minimum requirements for DaVinci Resolve include a reasonably fast GPU. Even if you're not working on Fusion effects, and don't want to invest in a discrete graphic card, the software expects at minimum, a recent Intel Iris Pro (see viewtopic.php?f=21&t=62582 for specifics)

I'm not sure what the chipset on your motherboard is, but it is very likely you're running into graphical glitches like this issue because of your hardware limitations

Hi, in case someone has the same prob, it's easy to solve, and I'm also new to "Resolve". It's only a settings issue, no fiddling with the system. Here it's an older Intel HD 4400 integrated graphics and it works fine wih Resolve 15.

Go to: Davinci Resolve -> Preferences -> Video and Audio I/O -> Audio Interface -> select "Fairlight Audio Interface and MADI" -> Save

Close and reopen Prog. My firewall popped up and I had to allow the new funktion. Done!

Best - Hermann

Thanks Hermann, that did the trick; here with DR 17 Studio and got the same problem and your solution worked flawless;
thanks.
