Color match for Camalign Chromadumonde

PostTue Jul 24, 2018 6:39 pm

I'm looking for a match for a CamAlign Chromadumonde chart, specifically CDM 28r ver. 4.3b. I only have their 24+4 version listed in my charts.

It's not that hard to not use Color Match and just do all the correction by hand. I believe DSC provides literature on what the chart images should look like on waveform monitors and vectorscopes. If you're not certain, start with the camera manufacturer's Rec709 LUT and see if that gets you closer.

Thanks Marc. I didn't really need the chart, but it would be good to have the chart loaded in Resolve.

It looked quite good straight off the camera. The profile the DP used for the series of interviews (on a Sony F55) accentuated the folks with reddish skin tones so they looked magenta. It was easy enough to fix. Perhaps he was balancing for the ambient green in the flourescents. Matching color charts don't often yield what I'm looking for anyway.
