[b7][win][Edit] Ripple Overwrite results in some strangeness

Hello all,

Have a look at this video
https://videoblurb.com/mp/ripple-replac ... rd-way.mp4

to repeat:
1/ park Playhead at desired edit point at an edit point which has a video transition.
2/ mark IO on source clip
3/ press Ripple Overwrite

result
very odd result, pasting affected the prevous two shots.

UPDATE:
I have found that if there is no transition at the edit point, the Ripple Overwrite works as desired... so the bug is related to there being a transition at the edit point/s you see in the video.

Apologies to have confused the issue by calling the feature Ripple Replace instead of Ripple Overwrite initially. I have corrected this.

I can't find "Ripple Replace" in Resolve or the User Manual. Do you mean Ripple Overwrite? If so, I would suggest reading the User Manual as it works very differently from a Replace edit.

I know how it is supposed to work, it usually works perfectly, as expected, except where there is a video transition at that edit point.
There is a bug where it does strange things when you ripple overwrite at an edit point where there is a video transition. Try it!

Sorry about the renaming of the feature on this post, I had made a renaming suggestion as a feature request because the name ripple overwrite was difficult to phathom as a ripple edit and overwrite edit are two completely different things... I will edit this post title, thanks.

Here is a video showing how the Ripple Overwrite function has a bug in that it does some very weird things if there is a video transition at the edit point. It works perfectly, as expected, if there is no video transition.
