Hey Folks!
I'm not sure this is a 'Bug' per se, but I thought it best to mention.
When performing a Proxy to ProRes 422 relink via 'Relink Clips for Selected Bin...' the resulting clips are incorrectly sized at 1920 x 1080 (the Proxy size), as opposed to the correct 3840x2160 (the 422 size). They ARE correctly listed as the correct ProRes 422 codec, but the size is incorrect.
Again, maybe it's user error, but it doesn't seem like that that relink operation worked out as expected.
EDIT: I've tinkered around with it some more, and have noticed that this incorrect behaviour is unique to the bins populated with content via FCPX XML import.
If I manually create a bin, populate it with HD proxy assets and then 'Relink Clips for Selected Bin...' to the UHD 422 clips, the operation functions as expected.
So, FCPX's XML seems to be complicating matters.
