Hello there
I'm new to video editing and I encountered a rather weird problem when importing a video. The image seems to have distorted colours, as if they were moved slightly in the wrong direction. This pertains to all videos recorded by my phone Xiaomi. When importing other videos everything is fine. I attached a print screen, because it is difficult to describe. This stripe is sometimes added on the top, and all the colours are moved downwards. Does anyone have a simple solution for this?

Looks like a source clip decoding issue. Please post a link to a sample clip.

I tried to edit the same videos in Sony Vegas, and they are imported normally, without any errors. Here is a sample video after rendering in Da Vinci Resolve. I'm not sure if you meant that or original video.

I suppose there must be another video transcoder which I could use before importing media, I'm completely new to video editing.

Videos from another phone using the same codec H.264 are imported flawlessly.

Works fine for me in Resolve Studio 15b7.

Here too, looks perfectly normal.

With others reporting the clips look good, it sounds like you have a system or config issue.

please detail your hardware, CPU, system ram, etc, OS version, GPU type and GPU ram, etc.

RAM 8,00 GB

NVIDIA GeForce GT 740M
384 @ 810 - 980 (Boost) MHz 64 Bit @ 1600 - 1800 MHz
2048 MB

Windows 8.1

However I've found a solution, I can change recording settings in my phone to Full HD, then all videos imported look completely normal. If I keep recording in just HD, videos keep having the colours misplaced.
