Does linked Audio work in beta 7

Does linked audio work in 15beta7? I am currently using 15beta4 but will only upgrade if linked audio is working in 7.
Had a bit of a nightmare going from 14.3 to 15 beta. I first backed up my database and exported my project file. Then 15beta6 apparently upgraded my database. When linked audio did not work in 15beta6
I tried going back to 14. I uninstalled 15beta4, installed 14.3, but it could not read my database.
I tried to restore my database, but that did not work. So I went back to 15beta6 to make sure my database was still there. It was. Then I read that 15beta4 worked with linked audio. But the uninstall
tool would no longer work. (It worked once when I went back to 14). So I downloaded some uninstaller to uninstall 15beta6. That program DELETED MY DATABASE. GONE. I can cannot seem to find where I even put the backup copy of the database. Dry mouth moment...
Luckily, I gave up drinking for the month.
Then I incorrectly loaded version 15beta4 (the not studio version) and imported my exported project file. My edit was back! (whew) Linked audio worked! But it appeared I lost all my color correction. Is color correction not part of the exported file? But I was so afraid I lost everything, I will live with redoing color correction. It will be better the second time as I really didn't know what I was doing the first time.
I am back to being able to do sound for my movie. The new fairlight is vastly improved and that motivated me to move to 15 in the first place. But I have the studio logo splashed on my green screen because I did not dowload the right copy. It wont let me install the 15beta4 studio without uninstalling 15beta4 and the standard uninstall still doesn't work and I want to stay away from that devil uninstall tool. I will wait for a studio version of the latest release when audio is fixed.
I have admin rights so I don't know why uninstall doesn't work. It worked once, but not after that.
Hope this account is useful to someone.
