Hi all,

I would like to know if you (Blackmagic Design) are planning a DaVinci Resolve version that reads audio timecode.

I explain,

Audio timecode is a very old way of synchronizing audio and video...and it was been a while since i didn't
use it...

some days ago on a job (i work as a DIT) i got one sound technician using Tentacle devices,
so i had one audio track with audio timecode in my video....
the problem was that i had this audio timecode but the camera used did not generate timecode...
it has only this track with audio timecode...

i know that on editing stage is easy to sync it, but i realized that DaVinci does not use audio timecode as another way of syncing audio and video....

why not? it's a difficult feature to have it available on Dvinci?

or am i wrong and davinci reads audio timecode...?

i've searched....

thanks.

cheers.

n.

Have you looked at "Use LTC timecode..." in the Media pool?
