Unable to Install 15.0.0073 on Windows 10

I am brand new to DaVinci Resolve. I am trying to install the beta 15.0b7 on Windows 10 and failing miserably.

*The installer indicates that I must install VC++ 2013 (Installed)
*The installer indicates that I must install Resolve Panels (I don't know what this is.)
*The installer indicates that I must install DaVinci Resolve 15.0.0b.073
*Following Installation it says "Resolve installed successfully"

When I try to Run Resolve the splash screen loads and the messages stop at "Looking for Control Surface" and then the screen goes away and the process exits with no further indication of an error.

I have tried checking all of the boxes including PostgreSQL, but nothing appears to work.

Is there a detailed installation guide I can follow?
Is there a way to tell the installer to use different installation locations for sub-installations like PostgreSQL? Lumping everything on the C: drive is sub-optimal since I am running a multi SSD machine.

Just wondering...is there any "support" in this forum? I posted to Facebook and saw that several other Windows users are having issues but it appears (due to lack of response) that there is little interest in resolving new user installation issues.

Is anyone from the company reading these posts?
